Ok I got me a C39v2 pistol and put about 200’ish rounds though it, and only problem I had was a failure feed. Thought here we go another crappy USA built ak blah blah blah...until further investigation the mag looked funny. Ran about 4 mags though it (only brought 4) and it had to be the last one I shot before the malfunction, but the other 3 was ok. Here’s the pics see if you see what I do.....

Also like to say I shot my ar pistol in 556 and both are a “blast” to shoot....blast meaning epically loud!!!!

Korean mags?

I have 2 that are stamped made in Korea but not that one, no marks that I can see.

Any faint numbers/letters/symbols stamped on the spine or below the ribs just above the floorplate? What do the spot welds look like?

Regardless of the mag's provenance, you definitely found your problem. Should be a relatively easy fix if you have a vise or another means of bending that feed lip back out.

I bought about 10 mags several years ago and this is what they come in

Found that mark on another mag.....

my 5.45x39 mag has that mark.

Commercial Bulgarian. Plastic follower?
They're decent, but I don't think the same gage steel as surplus mags. Bend that sucker back in and roll on.

Yeah didn’t take much to bend the feed lips back, but I’ll know if it fixes it soon.
