Anybody know whether possession of “high capacity“ magazines purchased and owned before the ban are grandfathered?

In this case, I actually am asking for a friend.

Wait. You're turning a woman loose on a firearms forum? Most I've seen are nothing but leghumpers...bunch of horny guys who all notice a single female looking vulnerable with questions about how to... You sure she's a friend?

Obviously we've got some here, but they don't get piled on...except for TTT or triple t or whatever, and she seemed to enjoy the attention.

They DO have a ladies subforum there (Calguns), with 4 or 5 subsections, as I recall.
