Cabarrus Show 2/29-3/01

Last time I went it was a tee shirt and knife show. That was about 5 years ago. I actually asked for a refund for admission for my wife and myself. They gave it to me. Never been back.

Went today after church and found it to be lucrative to those seeking cheap optics, scented candles, and cigars. Now I know why parking is free. It's been many years since I've frequented gun shows and am wondering if they are dying off.

I ended up stopping by there today. Was dropping off some things for the wife at her friends in the area and figured what the hell. Got in and paid the $9 before I noticed the right side was empty. Walked the show in 10 min. 40% was coins, purses, cigars, candles, jewelry, etc. I was going to ask for a refund, but there were several in line and I was too pissed to do it. I did send C&E and rather pointed email and will not visit another event by them. Shows like this is one of the biggest reasons the shows are dying.

Got some back and forth emails with C&E about the last "show". I will never attend another show they promote. And if Dixie don't get their s@$t together, that's not far behind for them too.

We get S&D shows in my area. Next one is in Greenville on 3/14-15. We also get six-shooters once in a while. I will admit that I see a lot of knife, clothing, and accessories dealers at these shows and a lot of arrogant know-it-all dealers.
