Hey y'all, a few years ago I ran across the Cabin Fever Challenge, a virtual match shot from January 1 to March 31 every year. It's a simple match with a simple course of fire, and there are divisions for basically any rifle you wish to shoot including muzzleloaders.
Essentially you shoot 5 rounds standing, 5 rounds kneeling, 5 shots prone, and 5 shots sitting, in that order, mandatory reloads between each position change, with an 8" target out at 100yd (50yd for rimfire and muzzleloaders). Muzzleloaders also only take one shot in each position.
Video yourself running the course, send it in to the CFC team, and they plot your score. It's an international competition so you'll see entrants from Canada (where it's based), the US, Finland, Switzerland, and who knows where else.
The full rules and info are here: https://www.riflechair.com/cabin-fever-challenge
And here are a couple example videos from last year:
It's a way to encourage refinement of basic skills of shooting while also getting you out of the nice warm house a bit during the colder months. If you decide to shoot it, post your video here!
