Does anyone have 1st hand experience with these?

We’ve used Magneto flashers at VOD Tactical 3 Gun matches, but they are expensive and a couple have been damaged (not a slam on magneto..we ARE shooting stuff after all)

These Caldwell’s are new-ish to market and only $30. I went ahead and ordered 3 to try out.

Genius idea. But, I wonder why the back isn’t magnetic. 🤔

Wait a minutes.....55gr at 700 yards, the internet has said that will not work...LOL
Do it all the time! Granted, it's not a small target. Probably 20x24. And, if you adjust for incline it's really more like 685

I shot the 700 yard one yesterday and it was super easy to see. Love it.

Are these programmable at all? It would be nice to get a quick single blip for a hit.

I don't think so. But for $30 vs the $200 Magnetos....I'll live with not being able to call double taps easily.

I'd be happy with alternating red/green instead of a single flash. A single flash could be missed by a spotter.

I’ve put up 4 now at VOD and they seem to working fine. We will see.

they are indeed working great. Range was packed yesterday so they got quite the workout.
Yeah I went yesterday early and drove up to the 500 and hiked up to the 700 and that was “fun” lol
But the payoff was when a 7-8 year old boy hit it on his first try and we all celebrated with him!

So $30 and 300 calories was well worth the effort 😎
