    Wow.

Kind of sad that I've just never been interested in a .22 AR.

That's close to what I paid for mine a few years ago.

Was purchased for rifle classes. The young ones get a kick out of shooting it.

    I kinda like it myself.

Lj has shot my AR more since I got the BMMG conversion that she ever did before with .223...... That girl can go through .22 rimfire faster than prunes through an old man....

It's a must-have fun-gun that everyone should have in their collection! I have 3 of them in various states:
    pistol version
    standard
    integrally suppressed

I got one after Sandy Hook, wanted to see if I liked the platform before spending on the M&P 15x.
It shoots great right out of the box so I got the 15x a week later.:)

So the consensus is that it's worth $300 and that it runs/works no problems? Hows the trigger and can you put a Geissele in it?

I have a CMC 3.5# in mine. That doesn't answer your question exactly, though.

    Still waiting on my can....

I bought one for my boy a couple years ago; absolutely love it. Put about 1000 rounds through with no troubles. Dead on accuracy and takes any AR trigger as far as I know.

It takes standard AR triggers, pistol grips, stocks, optics. I have the Magpul version (4.5" barrel) and it feels just like all my other ARs...which was the intent.

    Absolutely worth it.

I can not comment on triggers (others have already), but mine has been very reliable.
And its so much like a 'big boy' AR, but yet you can shoot and shoot and shoot and your wallet barely feels it!

Thought about it. A co-worker has one SBR'd and runs full auto, perks of being an SOT dealer.
I don't want to drop another $200 and wait for another short SBR stamp when I've got an SBR ambi lower with a Geissele already (avatar).

And the only reason I'm not buying one is because I got one from this group the last time they had them on sale. Maybe a year or so ago.

    It's still LNIB. :(

I've shot several, and it's on my short list of things to pick up. Dont have the scratch for it this go 'round.

That is an awesome price. Got one for Christmas in 2014.
Two bad the M&P-15 Sports don't come with the quadrail from the factory too.

Or try the Beretta ARX160 pistol, I have one, fun to shoot it and tap out the pin and screw on suppressor.

Totally worth it. 15-22 is the most reliable AR-22 platform out there. Yes, you can put a Geissele in it - I had the Geissele S3G trigger in mine.

People have been asking this ever since the 15-22 came out. Nope, nope and . . . nope. S&W is extremely conservative, which is partly why they've been having their lunch eaten by more push-the-envelope competitors like Sig.
