Yeah, this guys a moron. Sadly he’s been on his local news station and advertised as an expert before.

He runs D.U.S.T (Detroit urban survival training), for those that want more good laughs.
 
Perhaps he is part of the reason why people ask about about carrying empty again?

His responses on YouTube are basically along the lines of "if you are doing it right you will see it coming and have enough time". Makes a little bit of sense but realistically that's not always going to be the case. Even the best of us probably do sometimes get surprised.

Yep, situational awareness is key, but you can’t always be on top of every situation. Criminals are smarter than he gives them credit.
 
A few days ago I asked a couple guys I know in the S.E. Michigan area who are in the firearms / training industry, do this for a living, etc. Retired MIL and LEO / Pulled triggers in the sand box, trained for, lived in, executed real life close quarters combat, etc. Both are still laughing.

Yep I showed my uncle this who was military police and a sharpshooter I think( I could be wrong, I don’t want to ask though)and he just laughed at the guy and said what an idiot.
