can you add plus 1,2, whatever basepads to a 10 round glock mag

Somebody just asked me this and i honestly have no idea. The topic of hi cap bans has peoples wheels turning i guess. Thoughts?

Just buy 33 rounders and call it good...there is NO WAY to track mags without 100% cooperation of those in possession of such and NO WAY the feds are ever going to get it.

Yes you can. I added a plus 2 to a couple of G27 mags.

There are ribs in the 10-rd magazine body that make it narrower, rather than a block like you would probably picture.

Oddly enough I couldn't go the easy route and find a google image of one. I knew it had to do with the internal construction but I didn't know the specifics.

🤣Either way, thank you for helping me out buddy. It probably would have never crossed my mind. I guess the CO worker in question was thinking if mags went back to 10rd limit, he could stock up on plus whatever kits and stay with a hi cap gun regardless of the political climate. Eventually, landed on getting his lazy ass online and ordering some factory hi caps and spring replacement kits and call it a day.

I was using .40 and they only added 1 round. I believe the 9mm will add 2.
