I picked up some items at an estate sale and I don't know what this .22 cylinder fits. No marking whatsoever except for scribed numbers on the business end. There's mostly Ruger accessories and such so I imagine it's a Ruger model. Thanks!

Bearcat in .22lr or .22 magnum? Some Bearcats were sold with both cylinders.

Did the Bearcats always have the engraving on the cylinder of the bear and the cougar? All the ones I have seen were like that.

Looks like a Ruger Single Six, an' if'n the estate had Ruger stuff, tha's likely what it is.

If tha's a 22LR cylinder, it probably goes with a Ruger Single Six that currently has a magnum cylinder in it.

Wow, thanks guys! I guess I'll be the good guy and try to track down who got the Ruger Single Six at the auction and offer it to them.

I have another twister too... I have never in my life seen something like this. I'm assuming it's related as it looks to be .22 as well.

Any inputs on this? 1.5" long and 1" wide

That is a regular 10 round mag for a Ruger 10/22 and Ruger American (and maybe some other Ruger rifles too).

The magnum cylinder on my old 3-screw Single Six is fluted but does not have the same cuts on the back of the cylinder.

0504201440.jpg 0504201441.jpg My best guess is a 22LR cylinder for a Single Six. One picture shows a Single Six with both 22 LR and 22 Mag cylinders next to a Bearcat. Both my 3-screw Single Six cylinders are fluted, but my fairly new Bearcat cylinder is not. The cuts on the back of the cylinder in question seem to be the same as the cuts on the 22LR cylinder pictured to the right of the 22 Mag cylinder in the second picture. The diameter of the Bearcat cylinder is 1.2 inches while the diameter of the Single Six cylinder is 1.4 inches.

I can not tell from the pictures whether the bottom of that magazine is flat or slightly rounded. My 10/22 magazines are somewhat rounded while my 77/22 magazines are flat. I think they both work in both rifles. That was a generous offer Big Waylon made to help you rid yourself of such things.
