Clearly he had stolen guns, and at least one attempt at altering a serial number, but the part that caught my attention was that because he had four handguns and an AR-15, that constituted "a car full."

Not sure what they would say about mine on an average trip to the range. I'm assuming "cache of weapons." :D

A cache? No, it's the ever popular evil "Arsenal of Weapons" that ABC World News Anchor Mangina David Muir likes to invoke in his trademark breathless melodramatic fashion.

What a cheese penis...

Just another example of not so subtle Left leaning Journalistic bias. I have noticed that Raleigh's N&O has often spewed forth about some incident or another where firearms are involved, overstating the quantity and degree of danger involved- apparently they use the terms "cache" and "arsenal" as synonyms for the numbers three and four. I mean, really. I remember one incident where the perp was underage and was found with two handguns, a rifle and a shotgun. Boom ! Arsenal ! they shouted in large print. Along with "hundreds of rounds of ammunition" ( as if that is an unthinkable amount for anyone to hoard.)

Cancelled that paper long ago !

So, say I decide to go rimfire plinking tomorrow, and take a scoped 22LR bolt gun, my M&P 15-22 SBR, and three 22 pistols, each with their matching suppressor...and toss two 525rd boxes of ammo in the truck along with the mags for each.

Y'all would say it sounds like a fun day shooting.

The media would say I was busted with a sniper rifle, an assault rifle, multiple handguns, over three dozen mags and more than 1000 rounds of ammo, plus six Weapons of Mass Death and Destruction. Imagine the headline. I'd be a one man militia at that point!

Face it. The news media could make up some seriously apocalyptic sounding descriptions of most of our collections.

I audited my ammo inventory recently and Mrs. is now convinced that I have to be on somebodies list somewhere.

I feel as though I'm seriously short on a couple of calibers.

I got stopped once and had three on me and one in the console. Since then, I have a rifle, too.

Heck, first time my wife and I took our kids to the range, we had her bolt action .22LR rifle, my bolt action .22 WMR, my Remington 870, my Beretta 92FS, my colt 1991A1, my Automag II, and at least two .50 cal ammo cans full of ammo.

And that's just what I remember us taking.

Hell, if I ever got arrested on my way to the range on any given Saturday, and they inventoried my vehicle for the press, the liberal media would shit a brick so big, Trump would only need 3 more of them to build his $#&ing wall.

From the "report:"

The driver, Kenya Floyd, and rear seat passenger, Jyrus Langston, were issued citations for carrying concealed weapons and possession of a firearm by a minor.

No! Not the dreaded citations! Heaven forbid!

If only there were some way to reduce gun violence! Clearly the existing laws aren't enough.

What is key here is we are law abiding owners and I have only been asked once to search my vehicle which I politely refused and the LEO politely respected. I handed him my license and CHP he asked where it was and told off hip. He asked if there were others and I replied yes but not within reach ... that’s when he asked. I said no more so because I had NFA items and really didn’t want to go thru explaining the paperwork. Imagine if the media got wind of some here’s cargo of ”death and mass destruction” ...

Trunk loads, guns...I can't help but think of this.

You're just a brute! :p

Questions I have:

  • Was the rifle driving on an expired permit?
  • Was the rifle driving distracted or not wearing prescribed corrective optics lenses?
  • Were all the handguns wearing a holster seatbelt?
  • Was an underage handgun actually driving?
  • Was the youngest handgun not secured in a prescribed safe safety seat?

Exaggerated headlines for sure.
If I ever took a job in MA again and moved to NH, I'd have to be extremely careful driving to not get pulled over. The Headline would be "Right Wing Terrorist NRA member busted with massive arsenal in MA." Claimed he was only moving to NH."

The last meet and greet at Havelock (ncgo) I had 12 pisols, three rifles, one shotgun and Sparrow suppressor.
They could say I had an arsenal in the rental suv. I do have my CHP.

Back in the day when we went shooting (four of us) we took two vehicles. One pickup with guns (bed loaded almost to rails) and one with ammo and lunch. Took pretty much all day to expend that amount of ammo but we had a ball. If we did that today and got pulled, the MSM would have an organism over the "gun running" gang of teenagers led astray by the "Evile" NRA. Today we'd just say we were practicing for the zombie apocalypse :)

I got pulled over once for an expired tag while moving. Officer asked if I had weapons in the car and my answer was "Yes dozens" lol on his face was awesome. Though I don't recommend doing the same

D'Qurious Bradford. What a name. At least his last name isn't George.

I always say the more punctuation marks one has in their name, the higher the chances of ending up in police custody. Punctuation marks don't belong in names.

Thats what we call a good start in Johnston County.
