Contemplating removing carpet in the downstairs den to do new flooring.
If I do, is anyone here interested in taking the used carpet to make an archery backstop?
I'd rather remove it myself and give it to someone here than pay to have it removed and thrown away.
Probably close to 600sqf.

Edit. Measured 430sqf. More if we do the downstairs bedrooms too.

I don't have pics handy, but that's what I did with my old carpet.

I built a simple frame from 2x4s. Buried the legs about a foot in the ground. Cut the carpet in 4ft wide strips and long enough to drape over the frame, carpet side in. I think I did three strips, so the target was six layers thick. I used deck screws to secure it to the frame and spray painted black dots and circles on it.

It held up really well and didn't look too much out of place. Lol.
