Waiting on a 158 grain TL 38 mold to arrive. Still can't find a 230 grain TL 45acp mold. I will be turning more wheel weights into ingots. Got about 6 five gallon bucket to work on. I need more free time.
You guys are a bad influence on me. I'm getting the urge to cast cause i love seeing all those pretty boolets pile up. Gonna try and wait to get past Christmas and hunting season but don't know if I can ignore the call of the mold.

@Starkherz199 & @Leadchunker are indeed wise men. Yesterday while the wife was cooking Turkey I was drawn to the garage and subliminaly coerced into cooking up some lead. Wound up with 1K 9MM 125 Gr. boolits. Powder coated and sized them today.
That’s a thing of beauty right there.
One of these days I’m going to learn how to do powder coating. Nice looking batch of bullets. @Bahamadon

@gritisg is right. I watched a few videos and got the power from Eastwood on Amazon. Can't remember who but a very wise and kind member here turned me on to powder coating. It's easier than chocolate chip cookies.

I can't take credit for them. I stole the pix off of castbullets.com. But if I had to guess probably .308.
I do cast for .308, .223, .380, 9mm, .40cal, 45, .38 spcl. and powder coat them all.
As for the bake. I got a small toaster oven at a Goodwill store. It gets hot enough to do the job.

The bug musta bit me pretty good. Couldn't stop casting so I poured out another batch today. Got 1 K 45 s at 230 gr. Probably powder coat them tomorrow

Great job of recycling. You gave me some pointers when I first started casting. I've got it pretty bad now. I'm working with not so automated equipment but still pumping them out pretty good. Plus i really enjoy it. Cast these 125 gr 9MM Thursday and Friday. Powder coated and sized Saturday and Sunday. Thanks for the push to get me started in this. What ammo shortage ?

Still waiting to cast my first, was going to today then got snookered into family drama. Just need to get a bit of harder lead to play with - all I have is close to dead soft stuff but it'll help to figure out the process and annoy the neighbors.

In honor of @Starkherz199 and castagedon I fired up my smelly pot today. Nowhere near castagedon numbers , I'm just in my rookie season. Did manage to drop about 1200 .45 's at 230 grain. Will sugarcoat in a few days.
