The place I work for part time is always hiring...they posted an ad on CL today, so a copy/paste is probably the best way to get you the details.

As info, you'll need a Class A or B, with DOT card, and Tanker endorsement. If you have the CDL but not the endorsement, don't worry about it. I went to my interview two years ago, left there and headed to the DMV. Pulled up the CDL handbook and the tanker section is 3-4 pages. Passed the test on the first attempt.

I'll be glad to talk to you about the job. I do get a "finders fee" if somebody gets hired, so let them know I mentioned it if you apply through the website. If you'd rather contact them directly, let me know.

    Anyway...here's the ad:

Always looking for drivers. But now they also need somebody that can work on sweeper trucks. Flyer was internal, but if anybody is interested let me know.

Not bad for a fleet mechanic.
I'd have a chat if I was in the area. Good techs are hard to find, for your sake and sanity as a driver good luck.

Heh, I used to work for your competitor. Cpcs. I'm not in Meck any more (long story). But I used to "steal" flushing jobs from your company at willlol. I can and did run sweepers, flush trucks, etc. We changed to primarily traffic control and I'm good at that too;). If you guys come west of Asheville, hit me up!

...and $5/hr bonus for Saturday volunteers. Not sure how long that'll last.
