Anyone have experience with the cellular game/trail cameras? My mother has a property that needs to be monitored and she is not tech savvy or physically able to remove and read SD cards in a computer. The cellular cameras would be easier for her to see photos on her phone but in reality it we be me having to do the majority of the monitoring.

Thanks

my BIL has some cell cams.
it all depends upon the carrier.
he uses Verizon after trying AT&T
and T-Mobile which did not provide
very reliable pictures and video from
the secluded areas he needed monitored.

I have one, and my son has been running Reveal cameras for a few years. They work. I get a picture within a few seconds. I've got one on around the house while we're showing it, I might get another for the construction site.

I have 2 Browning/verizon trailcams. One is about 18 months old, newer about 6 months old.
Both work great. I get pictures several times a day. I would buy them again.

The cost for multiple cameras data plans is high enough that I haven’t gotten around to getting into cameras yet. I’d like to try Cuddelink cameras but don’t have any and don’t know of anyone that has used them. Seems like a great idea if it works and if you manage to set the cameras up in range of each other…

What’s a cell camera run monthly? I have some land / equipment I’d like to watch and would like to see nothings happening vs maybe getting something via motion activation (which doesn’t seem to extend far enough.

I have a spypoint. Works pretty well, slight delay. They have a few different plans all fairly reasonable. Not sure who's network they use.

I have several MoultrieMobile Edge, they work off any cell tower, it will pick strongest signal, they also have a solar option, if you don’t won’t to change batteries. I don’t have internet access where I needed them for security concerns after a break in. I like that you can set it up to ding your phone when motion is detected. I have unlimited photo storage for $9.99 per month each. The only thing I don’t like is you can’t arm/disarm remote.

I have the Bushnell CelluCore 2/Verizon series and love it. I hunt over a small plot so just having one is perfect for my needs.
It’s $14 a month and I really like the “real time” alerts that I get when it is triggered.
I took a Buck last year that was in my food plot that I wouldn’t have gotten without the alert.
I was in the basement and the cam alerted me with a pic of the Buck as he was feeding in my plot.
I walked up to the deck, saw him across the pond eating, (only 125yds to the plot) and put him down.
Too easy? Yep, but I’m getting too old to turn down easy!
