Cetme-L love

I got one a while back, was thinking they will be quite collectible at some point....hopefully.......they are similar to an HK93.

Yeah, not great, but more than good enough for a fun range day. I'm not buying these types of rifles for their performance, I just like to own military firearms from different countries.

It's an interesting rifle for sure just a wee bit pricey for what it is.

Definitely very cool piece of kit. Spanish rifles are really interesting and more German than people realize. A bunch of Germans after WW2 headed to Spain to develop the roller lock rifles. You could really say the HK is a copy of a Spanish rifle (ok trolling HK fanbois a little).

A little WikiFu:

"The CETME 58 would become the foundation of the widely deployed German Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle. Semi-automatic variants were also produced for the civilian market....

The CETME (Centro de Estudios Técnicos de Materiales Especiales) rifle was designed primarily by the German engineer Ludwig Vorgrimler, who based his design on the experimental German StG 45(M) and the French-made AME 49."
