How will we settle on the final selector switch design? Or will we just end up going safe/fire as the standard? Some of the suggestions are not a go for me.

We’ll cross that bridge when we get a lot closer to the minimum needed...and we’re not even to 40% of the 500. :D

I personally wouldn’t care what it was as long is it wasn’t profanity. I would prefer something forum specific and not a basic safe/fire or pictograms.

ETA: but to be clear, we’d have the design ready before money was collected, so nobody will get stuck with a lower design they don’t want

I'm in for 2 @ fiddy each. Voted for 2 but may can go 4 if needed to help reach goal. Sequential numbers would be awesome also. One fer me and one fer the boy.

I’d put middle finger in the same category as profanity. I’m out if that’s the design...and I’d guess I’m not the only one.

If a 3 position selector, what happens in the third position, or will it just not pivot forward to that position?

I would also ask that profanity be avoided. (Although I’ve thought about F me, F you, and F all y’all)

It’s marked, but won’t pivot to the third. Most of mine are that way.
 
Just a thought and trying to keep it simple here for all potential buyers of the lowers...……..

These CFF unique lowers will most likely become a component of firearms that we will keep and perhaps pass on to family members or close friends.....….. and if we keep any engravings and words within a more family friendly content it may be more favorable to some.

It will for those lowers I plan to purchase but I'm just one CFF member here.

I realize we probably won't get custom engravings, even on the selector settings, but getting our screen names on there would be cool!

Just curious, has anyone checked with another vendor? A 500 minimum sounds pretty high to me.

Yes. Its a long road to figure out what person to actually get ahold of, and thats assuming they even want to talk to us. Ive wasted weeks on dead end phone calls

To be honest, Im a pretty basic guy, I'd be happy with the standard 'safe/semi'
Not a fan of profanity and, truly, wouldn't want my suggestion, just thought it was funny
I like the idea of having a CFF lower and starting an AR build and painting it and doing whatever the heck I want with it
 
I bet one of our sponsoring laser engravers could work us up a deal on some "virgin" receivers done up with a CFF engraving?
 
If that's the case, then couldnt they be personalized (at least a bit)?
Like, maybe, having 4 options for members or something?
