We don't have a dedicated spot to Medical information or related issues.
Not so much for people to share pictures of their inflamed wartch, but to share medical info or questions....

Good point -- there are a fair number of first responders of all types who can and do share -- it would make a nice sub-forum or two. Perhaps one diagnostic ("What the heck is wrong with me?") and one preventive ("Best practices to prevent/promote/rehab Condition X")

Ahem ... management/admin on Aisle 3 please?

The only caveat I would put on the Diagnostic is that it's not substitute for seeing a actually doctor.
 
I’m NOT a medical professional, but if I were I don’t think I’d like this.

Liability stuff aside, this is a place to come for conversation with friends that share a common interest. If you need medical advice, don’t put your friend in the position of being your doc as well.

I know a bunch of MDs, NPs and other practitioners...you can nearly hear them sigh when folks start in on their issues in a social setting.

Freely offered advice is great of course. My concern is that a particular sub forum could be seen as crossing a line from friendly advice to a
more structured thing.
