Who's going? Plan on riding out with a buddy and was wondering if anyone else is going. Been on the forums a while and haven't shot with anyone yet. Would be nice to put some faces with names.

What squad you on?

Quite a few fellas/ladies from forum going I think. Look for slowest, dumbest looking dude on squad 2 and please come say hi !

Well I forgot to register last night but I just did and I got wait listed... Hopefully something will open up. My buddy that I'm riding with is in squad 5.

I'm struggling with the long guns. If I'm not looking down the barrel or there's no fireworks, it's just a standing still glamour shot. I'm in need of people throwing caution to the wind and burning it down.

I'm your guy. Zero f's given. My goal is to have fun over being competitive (even though I tend to do alright) and shooting conservatively is not fun for me.
 
I bought a new camera a few days after the new year, so it's going to be pretty hit or miss for the first couple of matches until I can get used to it. I'll try to get something of everyone.
 
Agreed. I'm sure there's some sarcasm in that statement but you do you and don't worry about others. I've been a lot happier since I adopted that mindset. Plus, anyone that rags someone for what they shoot isn't a true enthusiast.

I'll mag dump on one target for fireworks. I'll tank a whole stage for a cool pics. Just say the word :cool:
 
I'm just messing with these guys b/c of the recent "more open the open" thread and one other where "light" loads were mocked. I'm planning to shoot the Steel match on Sunday to break in the PCC. Haven't had it out yet.

Shoot both! My buddy is running his pcc for the first time Sat as well

IMO, this is a perfect match for a PCC.

Can't rip on them in a rifle match. Unless they give y'all cheater targets like last time.

Why don't you shoot both? You can shoot my PCC (or the Scorpions :D )and then you'll be hooked, and go home and build one.

It's definitely part of the plan! I will have a PCC at one point.

But honestly, I love shooting 5.56. It's awesome and slams into stuff, the brake works, and the concussion makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
Multi gun race rifles are the pinnacle of modern rifle performance, imo!
PCC's: cheaper to shoot, but just don't have that performance, but they have their place.

If I shoot Sunday it will be USPSA. Steel challenge is cool, just not my thing anymore, but I do enjoy it.
 
In on 3 cant decide I want to shoot my MPX but I also just put together a 6lb bay gun in .223 I want to shoot both decisions , decisions
