The Dixie Gun & Knife Show is this weekend in Charlotte at The Park Convention Center on Independence Blvd (former Merchandise Mart). We will be there, as always. Who else is going?
 
Thinking about maybe running down there Saturday.

Wish I could either set up or spectate, but I have a shotgun competition with the school on Saturday and hockey sunday.
Next time!
 
Would like to stop by the show for awhile...might be tied up with work stuff for much of the weekend.
 
This might be the weekend I make it back to Charlotte!

Dad has a b'day coming up on Monday. What better way to celebrate it than by letting him watch me look at gun stuff. I may even get him some jerky.
 
Was planning on going and looking for a PCR but I already found one here. Now I'm out of money!

Yep. And when he can do them again, I will stop. Until then, I'll do them for him. I just prefer to do them earlier than Thursdays, in case people haven't made weekend plans yet.

Yep. We are in the back left row. Burgundy table covers, as noted by @BigWaylon . LOL Look for a bunch of milsurp rifles.

I'd describe myself, but I look like the loads of other white, overweight, balding men with a beard that will be there. Gun shows are full of them.
 
If yall see any HK MP5 stuff (ie: mags), please let me know.

Full but not overly crowded. Got there right at 9. Long line to get in but it moved quickly. Five minutes maybe?
Seemed like a higher amount of "non-gun" tables than I remember from the last one I attended but overall it was good.
Dude at one of the center tables has a Chinese dragunov in 54R that I slobbered over for a few minutes. The $15k price tag settled me down though.

Extremely busy until about 12:45. Slacked off after that, but there were people there until they announced the show closed for the day.

We did pretty well overall, but at least some of that was due to our motivated prices to ease the pain of our tax bill this year. LOL. Other vendors gave mixed reports. Some really good. Some only so-so.

Saw a new FDE SCAR 17S at one vendor’s table. He usually gets FN products when no one else can, but even he hadn’t had a SCAR in a while and then they sent him only one. He had $4K on it.

Yeah, they Dragunov is to die for. Chinese military, no import marks. May be the only one like it in the country and almost certainly was a sneak back from the sandbox.

Getting ready for some wings and brewskis at the Pineville Tavern. Too bad @lowspeed isn't here. I brought an old guy with me that he would probably enjoy sharing stories with. Lol.

Good to meet you, too. Sorry we were too busy to talk when you came by @ronn47 . It did get pretty hectic at times today.

Was a pretty good show. Came home tonight to a leaky basement, so relaxation time tonight is cancelled.

This weekend was the first time they have done it. Maybe it is a new thing they worked out with the venue.
