The Dixie Gun Show is in Charlotte this weekend (2/3-2/4) at The Park conference Center on Independence. We’ll be there. Who else is going?

Usually in the last couple of rows in the left rear of the building as you come in. Near the big roll-up door.

Lots of tables, but aisles are big enough to navigate
I'd guess it's the biggest show in the state due to being in Charlotte, but I've never been to the Asheville, Raleigh, Greensboro or Winston shows to compare.

Raleigh Dixie is the only one that comes close to it anymore in size, when they are both full. Greensboro used to give it a run for its money in the glory days.

When Charlotte is full, it is 930+ tables. Last time it was about 750 tables. We like it.
 
The highlight of our year used to be going to the Charlotte Merchandise Mart for the show this time of the year. 1,300 tables with 10,000 paid attendance. That was back in the 1900s. Mid to late 80s. Wow, what grand memories. We stopped by the road around Monroe and shot our new guns in the ditch on many occasions. Try THAT today!!!!! It was another world...........

If you did that on a Friday or Saturday evening these days, you'd probably blend right in. :D

I'm thinking about going. It all depends on if someone nibbles on the ammo or pistol. Otherwise, I have, hate to say it, homework.
 
We will be there at the Backwoods Bang Shop booth. Sadly, we will not be at the Fayetteville gun show this weekend.

Even more sadly, I'll be in neither Charlotte nor Fayetteville.

They're sending me to Kosovo (and I don't think they do gun shows there). :eek:

Yes, that's what they told me. It departs the second Tuesday of each week and stops in Moscow on the way. :confused:
 
I will definitely be there, but not sure yet which day. The Dixie shows in Charlotte are always good, even when they are low in attendance! Miss the Metrolina Expo days though!!

For those attending, drop by and check on us. It's typically a busy show for us and we are short handed. I'm making a phone call to a buddy but it could very well just be Caitlin and myself manning the fort tomorrow. If you come by, I warn you, I may put you to work.

I wish Charlotte was closer and my son didn't have a basketball game tomorrow. I would volunteer!

I was just there. pretty much same ole same ole. A couple Sig P365s there. I think Carthage had one for $519. Its definitely a little guy. Feels smaller than a G43 to me. I think because of the grip contour. It seems closer to the LC9 as far as how the grip feels. I'm not going to be a guinea pig though. I did see one PC9 there but they were asking $650. I think I saw that Ideal Sportsman up in Concord had one for $499.

Seems like its smaller than the last one I was at there.

I got there today around 11:30. Very good turn-out of vendors. Parking lot was packed, but I think there were a lot of other events going on around the area.

Backwoods Bang Shop was COVERED UP! You couldn't hardly see their tables, and there was a line 6 to 7 deep waiting to do their paperwork. "J" you have a great business buddy! Good to see you busy, but I didn't even try to say hello! Maybe next time!
 
Ok well I just drove by there and traffic was backed up at least 1/2 mile waiting to turn in. Like MacA said. Must be a bunch of events today

I was disappointed with the show. They are getting to be more and more like flea markets. First time I have actually seen pickle vendors at a gun show and there were 2 of them. As always at least one jerky booth, multiple jewelry booths and even a LuLaRoe booth.

Took forever to get out as Disney on Ice was at the coliseum.

Looks like the Disney show doesn't start until 4:00pm on Sunday.
