Looking to marry a lower I have with a 14.5" upper with a muzzle brake making it 16"+ but need to get it pinned/welded so I don't get raped in prison. Anyone know of a place near Charlotte that would do a good job? Thanks in advance.

hrm... i've been thinking to make a proper m4gery
you tried putting a bayonet on that to check the fit over the flash hider? I know you need a sliiiightly longer than normal hider to make 16", but I don't know if those things work with traditional accoutrements like bayonets and suppressors made to clamp over an a2 flash hider

Bayonet fits. I have an OKC3S and it works perfectly.

But a BFA will not fit, and suppressors probably will not either.
There are other options for using a standard A2 like putting a nut or spacer on first.

But those options seem like you will be using a very short section of threads at end to attach your A2. Maybe it won’t cause any issues but just doesn’t seem ideal to me.
