SS190 isn't legal though for civilian use, correct? How many military/police units use 5.7 here in the States? Low on my concern list.

Small high velocity FMJ rounds verses heavy wadcutters probably... I guarantee there are some 357 Magnum rounds that will penetrate level 2 armor...

Secret Service and other PSD type groups mostly from my knowledge. Its classified as AP per the BATF and also illegal due to many state laws, I know you can't buy it commercially but it shows up in private sales from time to time. Over all, yea, pretty much a non issue. If someone is throwing 5.7 at you it will most likely be ss197 or that AE stuff.

I haven't heard of any agencies issuing the fiveseven (handgun), none around me for sure.

It appears the U.S. Secret Service will initially purchase the 9mm Glock 19 MOS Gen5 TLR7. Along with that, the Secret Service Special Operations will be allowed to carry the 9mm Glock 47 MOS Gen5 with X300 sights.
