Ok so I'm not really sure how to approach this seeing that it may be a sensitive subject. A friend of mine has this "chunk of metal" pretty sure it's aluminum. He needs it milled to make something out of it. Has a number 80 on the box. Not sure if it's the model number or what. :) He said he needs a few specific tools which are a bit pricey for a one time use. He said he can't give it to someone who has the tools because of some laws in place but is willing to go to their house and make it himself if they'd let him use the tools and pay for any wear and tear that might occur on the tools. If they've done it before maybe they can guide him. Does anyone know who may posses said tools/skills in the Charlotte/Concord/Huntersville area? I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to be generous with his gratitude.
 
You should probably just ask about the legalities of milling an 80% receiver and if there is someone nearby willing to help. Nothing illegal intended, assuming that your friend isn’t a prohibited person, so being coy about it just makes it seem shady.

I’ve never done one, so can’t help with that.

Didn't know if was a taboo subject or what. Anyone willing to help a friend in need?
