Class 3 misdemeanors

You mean a brilliant being like yourself can’t come up with a better recompense than reward the govt.?

I didn’t say let it slide. You did. I asked how a silly ticket and fine helped the property owner?

Okay.... I suppose to you a FINE for disobeying the law is unconstitutional and has no meaning. If the property owner or his/her land was damaged in any way he/she has the right to recover those damages through the legal system if they so chose. The "silly" ticket and the resultant fine are to send a message to the perpetrator that it's NOT okay to go around breaking laws.

Since you feel so strongly about the "system" being wrong and corrupt I have a solution for you. either STFU or MOVE out of the country so you won't be inconvenienced by obeying the laws. Call Alex Baldwin, maybe he can make some recommendations on a better place to live. OH wait.....that's right.....

Reading comprehension isn’t to good today. We were not trespassing, did not tear anything up, did not leave any trash behind. We got a ticket for loading and unloading at a boat ramp, but what the charge or ticket is for is irrelevant, all I needed to know was if a class 3 misdemeanor would effect ccp, or future job opportunities. If it won’t I will pay the ticket and go on, if it does I will likely hire a lawyer to get it dropped. Sorry some folks on here have had issues with people riding their atvs before, the group I was with is not the people you have dealt with.

If you weren't riding and trespassing (either on private or posted public property) why were you "loading and unloading" the ATV's?? The boat ramp is posted public property and normally has signs stating the prohibition against ATV's and the like.
Yes, you are the same people we've dealt with, people that can't seem to read a sign and comprehend it's meaning...

Yes it will effect your job opportunities in the future, no it will probably not effect your CCW. Hire an attorney they might be able to get it dismissed if not you can maybe get an IE.

But just a question. Do ya'll normally go to boat ramps and load and unload your atv's for fun? No one is stupid enough to think that's all you were doing and neither is a judge.

The only people who are allowed to ride ATVs on gameland, as far as I know, are; registered disabled on a hunt and still only in certain areas, and game officers.

Go ahead and hire a lawyer, but ignorance won't get you far with a judge on this one. Just my opinion though.

To clarify, (group of 7 ) - 7 atv’s?

If so - 7 bikes in single file on land not owned by you.

You definitely “tore something up”.

To OP, not the same, but my friend had an assault with a deadly weapon charge (not conviction), and he got his CCW with no issue. I can't imagine it affecting you.

Just pay the fine and court cost.
Judge ain't gonna reverse the charge anyway.
Your time and worry is worth more than what it will cost just to pay up.
Remember; lesson learned.
