I primed 150 6.8 SPC cases, and I’ve decided that they weren’t shiny enough. They’re a lot easier to find at the range when they’re clean and shiny. Would it be a bad idea to put them back in walnut media and tumble again?

......wet tumble with stainless media and fugehtabowtit.
Have considered stainless, but would have to invest in all new equipment, then have to dry brass afterwards. Had my vibratory cleaner for 15+ years and still happy.

Chuck up a small dowel, shape it so the cartridge will fit on it snuggly. While spinning it hold it in place with a paper towel with some flitz on it, then buff with a very small piece of cloth.

Be careful not to snag the cloth and rip a finger off.

Lathe works best, but drill held in a vice works.

It is a slow and laborious process, but it’ll make them shinier than any other process.

I would typically clean with walnut, then polish with corn and a spoon of Nu finish, or Frankfort Arsenal magic juice.
Then I went to stainless......

I definitely would not tumble after priming.
