I have no idea what's going on with the guide rod extension, but I have to ask -- was this gun ever a dog's chew toy?

You guess is as good as mine, this is a photo a guy I know sent me stating that he would sell it for cash. Man that is ROUGH.

I would guess some kind of laser guide rod... looks like adjustment screws on the end. Don't know why it's hanging out the front though. I had the laser max guide rod in an old glock, never trusted it personally. If that's the only thing bothering you with that gun then get it, fix it, and sell it for profit. Good luck. Ps. Fwiw, Id also add that I don't usually buy glocks that show a 33 round mag in it. For obvious reasons .

are you sure it isn't an airsoft?
was the slide painted/coated? does glock even make slides like that?

How well do you know this guy?
 
Did the seller find that in a alleyway dumpster in Compton?

That deal would be a pass for me.

I’m weird I like tinkering around with stuff and saying something to go from crappy to nice again has some satisfaction behind it! As long as it’s not a “hot” gun

I would low ball him then use this as an excuse to grab an air gun and start cerakoting it and likely everything in the garage and house that isn’t bolted down.
