It is cold, there matches everyweek now, how or what do you do while shooting in this weather? Stay home? lol

Missed having you at the Sir Walter USPSA carbine match last weekend @dbracin . Just layer up and pack some hot hands.

I do this sport for fun. That's the bottom line.
I am coming up on half a century, and I've been freezing cold enough times to feel like I won't be missing anything.
Like staying out on a Tuesday night drinking till closing time.
Been there, done that, wore it out! No need to revisit.

The young bucks can go ahead and tear it up.

Buy a heated jacket with a big battery, its what all the pros do

Coats, handwarmers, toboggans and earmuffs are all good.
But when the youngers have fun, its never to cold.

Today playing around after a bit of practice before she takes her concealed carry class tomorrow

Gator skins - you won’t be disappointed.
I wore them in -20 weather, captures and retains body heat like wearing a wet suit.

The hard truth is that in my discipline, I am at least a decade older than the people I'm chasing. And of course they are all out there practicing in the cold. So if they're practicing so must I.

Not sure I would have made it all day without the Buddy Heater.

Bought another pair of gloves at Academy tonight. Arthritis has gotten to the point that I hurt every single time I shoot. But I'm going to keep at it and see if I can push the sun back into the sky for a few more days of summer.
