This is the Sangre de Cristo range as seen from The Bluffs, a park in Westcliffe. I'm going to stitch these together for a panoramic view.

This morning I read that the Cielo Vista Ranch was sold for $105 million. 83,000 acres with the only privately owned 14er in the state. Used to be owned by a lumberman from New Bern, named Jack Taylor. That land has an interesting history and lots of legal battles. Have you ever been down there, Don?

No. The closest I've been is Fort Garland and Alamosa on the way to the Great Sand Dunes national park. Cielo Vista is down real close to the Colorado/New Mexico state line. I'm up in Westcliffe.
