I recently replaced the stock plastic handguard on my ACE with a Midwest Industries 10" aluminum handguard. Posted a quick write-up in the "Accessories" subforum (TL;DR: go buy one), but figured I'd bump this thread, too. I actually think the MI version looks more "stock" on the gun than the actual stock handguard.

That’s actually Matt’s gun. My fixed stock AK is currently with the builder getting a new barrel. He was nice enough to let me test the stock on his gun at the range.

Felt heavy until it was installed. Installed, the extra weight wasn’t noticeable since it helps the balance of a front heavy AK. It weighs 1 pound. For reference, a plastic Kvar stock weighs 8.9oz on my scale.
 
Oh that vg6 is great. Have either the gamma or the epsilon on all my rifles. Cant beat the price and they work great!

Zenitco grip showed up nearly a month earlier than expected. Seller listed it as a "tool" worth $5 USD on the customs declaration form, so maybe that helped. Looks good and really feels comfortable. Also swapped out the Aimpoint for a bit of magnification to stretch some x39 legs. Will try to get out to the range this weekend, but I don't know with all this rain.

Thanks! Haha, it's option 'B' but thanks for photo compliments. I simply used an iPhone 7 with natural lighting.
