Compadre

My compadre in Mexico is quite ill and appears to be in the final days or weeks of life here. He is a dear friend and valued co-worker, that i have worked with for over 12 years.
Please include Alberto as well as his wife and kids in your prayers.
He is only 56 years old and is currently in a coma (unable to wake) and it's not likely that he'll be able to come out of it, short of the hand of God.

Thanks for all the prayers for my friend and counterpart!
The information I am getting is sketchy at best...but I know that God is with him and watching over him.
I pray for "the best", His will in and for his life, and am hoping there is a path of recovery for him.

Thanks all. I got an update yesterday that he is out of the hospital and home, but not "out of the woods". He is still very weak and cannot walk any real distance or stand for any period of time. If his body reacts well to the treatment in the coming days and weeks, it appears that there is a path to recovery...but it will be a long process of regaining strength and stamina. Continue to pray for him and all that are struggling with health issues and difficult circumstances that they are not defeated or deceived and that they may find strength, courage and hope in the Lord! 🙏
