If owners are not allowed to make their case through the justice system, he added, “the only alternative is revolution.

Asked to clarify what he meant, he replied, “Literally, what I just said.

Perhaps the best part of the article is the head of NZ Law Enforcement begging everyone to stay calm. He has a keen understanding that police will die if they decide to force the issue.

I’ve often wondered if the spark that will set things off worldwide will occur in another country. Much like the Great Depression was set off by a couple of small banks closing in another country and it dominoed.

Not saying it will or this is it just something I’ve thought about.

Since the government does not know how many “military-style semi-automatic weapons” were in the country, a year from now they will declare the gun buyback a huge success no matter how many guns were turned in.

I've had the same thought.

“These weapons are unlikely to be confiscated by police because they don’t know of their existence,” she told the Post. “These will become black-market weapons if their owners choose not to comply with the law and become criminals instead.”

They didn't choose to become criminals. The government made them into criminals.

big rural country, lots of ranchers and farmers living outside the small towns, lots of pissed off gun owners. Way to go socialists. You've created the American Wild West on an island. I hope the Kiwis kick their Prime Menstruater and the rest of her ilk TF out of their beautiful country

How many of you guys have actually read the NZ shooters manifesto? He for sure was off his rocker, but in it, he stated some interesting things. He chose NZ specifically to spark this very thing, he even goes further to explain what this entails for the American people. Please don't miss understand me here, I in no way shape or for form, support this mans actions of shooting and killing unarmed people, but his mission, his targets, his location for the attack, was deliberate, and deaply thought out, to set about changes and policy that effects us as well... Just some food for thought.

It's as if they read his "manifesto" and took it on as an instruction manual.

It reminds me of a story that ends with a person in an insane asylum coming up with a brilliant solution to a problem, to the bewilderment of all involved. Then he says to their surprise,

"I may be insane. But, I'm far from stupid."

The article stated that they were not required to register the now-illegal rifles, so they must have some idea of the number of sales.

How can they claim less then 1% if they do not know how many there are?

More than 10,000 firearms have been bought by New Zealand’s government in less than a month as part of its gun buyback scheme following the Christchurch mosque shootings in March.
The governments gun-buyback scheme was launched in mid July. Since then, 10,242 firearms have been handed into police, with an additional 1,269 firearms handed in under amnesty.

The total number of firearms in New Zealand is estimated to be between 1.2m and 1.5m, and gun owners of now-prohibited weapons have until 20 December to hand in their weapons.

Possession of a banned weapon or part can carry a prison term of two to five years.

Just following the Australia model, wait, what?

Australians now own more guns in total than they did before the 1996 crackdown, according to figures from 2016 - the last time they were comprehensively studied.

That amounts to more than three million firearms, according to separate government statistics.

But gun ownership per capita has dropped by 23% during the same time, said Associate Prof Philip Alpers from the University of Sydney.

"Far fewer people now have a gun in their home but some people have a lot more guns," Associate Prof Philip Alpers told the BBC.

We hear the same crap from the leftist media about gun ownership,in the US. All predicated on anonymous polls send surveys. It's a bunch of BS and newspeak. They don't like the fact that more and more people are arming up, so they lie about it. It's all part of the program to make gun ownership culturally unattractive.

So basically the number is meaningless until DEC 21st.

Why do you think it's so hard to find? Why do you think, THEY, say you shouldn't read it? Ann Coulter is quoted saying..."everyone needs to read it".

Wow, I’m 43 pages in, This guy isn’t a idiot by no means. Very interesting read with a lot of truths. He produces the factual back up. He 100% believes he tried to insure his race survives.
