Hey guys,

The Concord Gun Show is this weekend (1/6 and 1/7). We will be there at the Backwoods Bang Shop booth. Drop by and see us!

Who else is going?

We’ll see you there!

How is this show say compared with the Greensboro show

Much smaller - like 1/3 to 1/4 the size. I have found some neat stuff at the Concord show, but you can probably go through the whole show quite thoroughly in just a couple hours.

May go on Sunday.

I plan to stop by tomorrow morning. Probably 30-60 minutes after opening.

I'll be the guy walking around with a baby in a chest holster.
Since you'll be carrying a baby in your holster,

what will she be carrying in hers? :D

Terrible show. $9.00 to get in. 1/2 the darn building not even opened (lack of vendors?). More trinket, coins and purses then gun items. Not going back to that show again. I think I'll just hold out for the Greensboro and Charlotte shows from now on.

I stopped going to the C & E shows quite awhile ago. I only go to the same two as you. Last time I went to a C & E show it was to pickup a gun Jerek was holding for me. The only problem I find with Greensboro is they charge you for parking. I forget the amount but it wasn't cheap.

Agreed. It was likely the worst gun show that I've ever attended. Complete crap. Very few guns and it's a pain in the ass to navigate the narrow and crowded aisles. I've said time and time again that I am not going back to Concord...but I do. I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick that football. Nope. Not again.

On the upside, I get to talk with @g-dad and @Jeppo and Mrs. Jeppo.

Last Concord show I went to was in the building on the far right, first time I'd seen it there. Which building are they using this weekend?

.

Same one. But only the left half had vendors. The right side was closed down. I'd like to go to the next one and stand at the entrance off the road and tell all the suckers paying $5.00 to park for the other event to just tell them you're going to the gun show.

I'm embarrassed and apologize. You had 'em waiting in line for you like a Starbucks at 8am. I didn't think you'd remember.

This is disappointing to hear, Im going anyway to chat with cubrock and BWBS.

Maybe Ill randomly put CFF cards on peoples windshields and piss them off too

Wait...I have an idea.

Put Canadian cards on peoples' windshields...then walk around with a sandwich board saying,

Join CFF
the firearms forum
that won't pollute
your windshield

Very disappointing! I was at the November C&E Concord show and was amazed at how pathetic it had become. I was planning to attend today, but after reading these replies I think I will forego the trip. I hate it for our awesome forum members that have booths there! I hope it isn't a total bust for you guys!

There will always be good shows and bad shows. You can’t hit a home run every game or limit out every fishing trip. This was our worst show in quite a while, but we aren’t giving up on Concord yet. We’ve had some pretty good shows there.

The gun industry is in a state of flux right now looking for the new normal, now that the best gun salesman of all time is no longer president. It will take some time for all aspects of the industry to find equilibrium. That holds true for gun shows, too. The market may not continue to support all the shows that it used to. There are a lot more shows now than there were in 2008.

Edited to add, it was good to finally meet Butter after all these years.
