Constantly being asked to confirm likes on posts

Today I started getting diverted to a confirmation screen every time I like a post. Can anyone tell me why, it's really annoying.

If I hit like and it asks me to conform I just hit back and don't bother, so it may.

I just tried to like a couple of things. One did, one didn't. It's bloody baffling and annoying.

I get it once in a while. I paid attention last night for a change, and it seems as though I get the confirmation pop up when I 'like, a post while the page is still loading.
We are 100% on cell data so sometimes pages can take hours to fully load.

Forum can’t understand his accent. Keeps hearing “loik” every time he hits the “like” button.

Because youre so crotchety, the site is not sure you really meant to do it.
The site's AI assumes you fat fingered the heck out of the button and it just wants to confirm. Then you hit back and move on, confirming it's suspicions and, thus, making it happen more and more.
