So the little black ones I thought were rimfire. They appear to be roughly the length of 22mag but none of them have firing pin strikes. What are they, some kind of nail? They could be brass given the green corrosion, which I think kind of rules out nails.

Pounding in a rimfire case might flatten the case enough that the strike doesn’t show?
