Coolest rimfire you've owned?

Did you do the cardboard trigger bar fix for the G22? It significantly improved it.
nah. the trigger was bad, but not SO bad. I never had any problems other than it being a little spongy. I wonder if one could make an X shaped trigger bar to keep it from flexing so much...
My Ruger 10/22 in the Aklys Defense ZK-22 Bullpup. Shown with my SilencerCo Sparrow.
SPEAKING OF BAD TRIGGERS
My zk22 has the original RJF logo and was from the first batch of preorders. It's a great concept, but my trigger has got to be like 15lbs. I would like to either SBR it or get a threaded barrel though. You've got the right idea for a fun 22lr not-P90. that trigger tho...

I have a lot of rimfires. This is probably the most unique of the group. My son shooting it last weekend. STG44, very close copy of the original. Weighs 10lbs, made in Germany, even comes in a wooden crate (optional) like the original. I saved $20 and did without the crate. I did however buy a replica leather sling for it for about $20 though. Sling even has proper WWII German markings on it.

That's all the cardboard mod does, fill in the space it flexes into

CD these pics make me sad. My Grandpa has one and my Dad stupidly sold it. It was the steel reciever version and I believe he had owned it since buying it new. They're hard to find nowadays but it ran great with CCI mini-mags!
First .22 pistol I ever shot. When I found out my Dad sold it I was mad at him for weeks and didn't even speak to him. There were a few more guns like that which happen to 'disappear' during the time he lived with my Grandma.

Project I did for my dad years ago. He bought it from my cousin about 40 years ago for $50. Before and after with Duracoat/ painted pistol grips. 22 short View attachment 187594View attachment 187595
When I worked for The Man Killer Walker Bethea we sold those in every color you can imagine. $18.00 in 1962. We sold Colts and S&Ws too..What a grand time that was....

I'll play. 1913 BSA ShtLE III Lee Enfield refitted by AG Parker & Co as a NZ .22LR trainer. This one has the Parker-Hale PH5a target sight.View attachment 187581

You shoot it single shot, and the empty cases fall into what was the magazine. People crack up when you draw a bead with this and then it goes "pop!":D

I see it also has the OZ ownership mark (D w/broad arrow).

You didn’t happen to buy that Model B from someone in the Wilson area several years ago? I sold one a while back that had a great trigger!

There are some awesome rifles and pistols listed here, this has turned into one of my favorite threads. I also have my Dad's old Remington Fieldmaster. While it's nothing fancy, she shoots really good. Between both of us, many squirrels have been put in the frying pan.Remington Fieldmaster.jpg

Nope, I’ve had this one for at least 10 years and bought it from a pawn shop in Monroe. It does have a really nice trigger though.

I gave one to my wife. Love the rifle.

I've owned a Ruger 10/22 in the Thompson stock (forget the name for it) and currently own one in a Krinker Plinker stock (looks like an AK74) still trying to get it to run right though.

coolest 22lr I own is a Marlin 39A. I bought it off a guy a few years back, needed a through cleanup. Shoots great. I've got a freind that is into High Standards and Colt Woodsmans. every time we go to the range, he's got something different to shoot that pretty cool. Another friend of mine has a high standard that was his fathers when he was on the Navy Marksmanship team during the 40s-50s. The gun had been modified by the amourer on board( USS Everglades) and shoots better than any other 22 pistol I've ever shot. He's also got his fathers 1911 that has all kinds of mods I've never seen on another gun

Somebody on here now owns my two, but if he didn't name them then neither will I. :p

I used to have a really nice MkII. 4.5" PacLite upper, some VQ parts & a trigger job. Amazing pistol.

My wife put one mag through it, looked me dead in the eye & said, "This is my gun now."

She still lets me play with it occasionally :D

I once traded into a MC-58 trainer. It was very cool, missing the rear sight and magazine but my plan from the beginning was to flip it-and flip it I did.
