Cooper gonna shut it down

He will get off scott free and claim that the RPD was at fault and since feces rolls down hill the city will in turn push it off on the individual cop. Unless there is A paper trail To prove his innocence or “just following orders” then it will land squarely on the cop

What are they expecting at the next protest...that the RPD will be going around with six foot poles and any persons closer than 6ft to one another needs to have matching addresses on their IDs...or else you gettin protected and served
They’ll issue the RPD new helmets to use...

That dude embodies the full stupidity of society and these health "experts".

I could sneeze on that guy from 10' away and hit him.
Plus, the basic fact is he’s set up with a diameter of 6’ instead of a radius of 6’.

Maybe he is just a hilarious smartass?
This was my take on it as well. If he were >really< freaked out, I would imagine he would have on a mask, a suit, and a sign.

Are you assuming gender here? Those meaty thighs could be female.
Normally, I would agree...but I find the "Whale Shark" pattern wet suit lends more to a male (or male leaning female) palette.

it was prescription pickup time last week as walM... got to go thru the new path... Owe EN E way in O N E way out

had a helluva time keeping distance from person in front of me, tried varying my stride, slowing down, just could not do it....
got in, got my stuff, and got the hell out....

In a news conference the Governor was asked,"who is going to enforce these orders" and Cooper said something to the effect of officers will have to confer with their local authorities on this. Meaning that he wasn't going to be the one holding the bag at the end of this dog and pony show.

CNN, announcing that the GA., TN., and SC. are starting to let select business start to reopen. I'm glad for everyone this will benefit, I just hope it is not to soon. I guess only time will tell.

Thats the lovely thing about it, if you feel its unsafe for you, then you get to be the one to choose to stay home. If you are good with going out and about, then you too get to choose that.

Yeah I heard about GA from my cousin in Atlanta.

Too soon? Who knows, time will tell.

Did this news source also mention that one in five workers, or worse, will be unemployed before the other states look at all their formulas how to keep mostly older people safe? But our political system WILL NOT pick winners and losers. There are big decisions coming in some states.

But as the weeks slip by, we're approaching in a few weeks losing the livelihood of many Americans for a generation. And the cities are now looking for a bailout. Lack of reasoned leadership has consequences.

If they did, I missed it. Most news outlets have been posting a running total of New unemployment claims., Todays W.S.J. lead story “Jobless Claims Swell by 4,4 Million.” For a total of 26 million. Which is a true tragedy. This number could continue to climb at an alarming rate if the spread of the virus is not slowed or hopefully stopped.

Yes, there are some huge decisions that will need to be made that could affect our country for generations. How do we define “reasoned leadership” is this the leader we agree with the most, or the one in 20/20 hindsight made the correct decisions?

I have always strongly believed in the utilitarian theory of government and leadership. By this I mean what actions or lack of, will create the best for the most, and cause the least pain for those who are do not benefit. I personally DON’T believe that rushing to remove the current restrictions is the best choice.

Understand all of the above is from a 71 Y/O, who based on some bad personal life choices, has at best shortened life span, and the last of my family line. I also have a lifetime guaranteed income that meets my needs. Yet, I try awfully hard not to let any of the above sway my feelings/opinions.

Wishing everyone the best of luck.
