Corn on the Grill

I peel back the husks, remove silk, pull husks back over the cobs, place the cobs in individual foil pouches, pour approx. 1/4 c beer in each pouch, seal and grill.

Spread cooked and husked corn with chipotle/lime butter.

THE BEST!

I used more beer than that....... but it wasn't wasted on the corn. :D

Food Lion had fresh sweet corn for $1/ 3 ears. I shucked it, silked it, wrapped in foil......then and added salt, pepper, butter, and Texas Pete. This is my favorite way to eat corn.

I do mine the same way and sometimes I substitute a little Old Bay instead of Texas Pete.

I shuck them, rinse them and cave man them over coals. A little butter and chili lime seasoning..... That’s that stuff right there!

leftovers get cut off and used in tacos

That's my favorite too. The really great thing about this method, other than how it tastes, is you've really got to try hard to screw it up.

I cook them on the grill until husks are pretty black. Then husk them and lightly brush on a coating of mayonnaise, then roll them in fresh grated Romano cheese.

I wrap in foil, but put a few pads of butter and garlic salt in the wrap and cook em that way.

Never tried old bay or texas pete on them..or beer...but may have to try those ideas.

I don't eat much corn anymore, but I had some yesterday evening.

Unfortunately, it was already seasoned, and I had to dig through sausage, potatoes, and shrimp, just to get a piece.

I soak them in water for a few hours then grill them. This steams them in the husk, then butter and lowrys salt.
I do the same grilling technique... But, no need to soak for hours... I soak mine for about 5 minutes. They just need enough time for the water to fill up inside the husk.

That sounds disgusting and amazing at the same time! I love mayonnaise, but never thought about putting it on corn...

You have to give it a try. Remember it's lightly brushed on the corn mostly to hold the Romano cheese on it. Or the grated cheese of your choice. You hardly taste it since the cheese is stronger then the mayo.

I do it strait on the grill butter it heavy and add salt.
You don’t need anything else to eat.

You guys ever tried deep fried corn?

If you have never tried you should at least once.

You will like or you want.

Get the oil hot. Use tongs to drop it in be careful like to splatter.

When it starts popping go ahead and take it out. Salt it and enjoy.

I put mine on the pellet grill and smoke them. Then wrap them in foil with some butter to finish cooking. Mmmm hmmm

To also let u know..fresh ear corn in the husks in the freezer lasts a long time and it is fresh to the taste, just take out frozen place in salt water with a tablespoon of sugar and let it thaw and put on the grill...you can enjoy the whole year. (learned this from a old farmer)
