Les Deplorables
Seeing the empty store shelves in Hong Kong has gotten me thinking I should do a little bit of prepping. Not that I expect coronavirus to be a huge problem in the US, but the fear could easily empty store shelves, and I'd rather not get caught short-handed - which has already happened with respect to N95 masks (sold out all over the planet).
So, what should I get if I expect a run on the stores as a response to coronavirus contagion fear? So far I've got:
-hand soap
-isopropyl alcohol
-hand santizer
-toilet paper
-bottled water
-canned food - I find most of this stuff barely edible, so I'll probably stick to stuff I find more palatable - sardines (yum!), tuna, chili, corned beef, etc. Open to suggestions here.
-simple dust masks - might be all that's available; I've got a half-face respirator with vapor cartridges if it comes to it
- cold and flu meds
What else should I add to the shopping list?
