Couple new (to me) Mosin Nagants

Figured I'd show off a couple M91/30 Mosin Nagants I just picked up recently. One of them is a hex receiver and the other is a Finn capture. The Finn Capture has some pitting and rust on the barrel near the front sight. Any idea on whether I should try to fix/restore it? I've built AKs from parts kits before but this is a bit different. Part of me wants to just leave it as is due to the history, but I'd rather the pitting and rusting not spread and get worse.

Rust is of the devil. Get rid of it.
 
Sweet. I ran some CLP bore foam down my '34 Tula and wow that stuff worked wonders.
