Thats aht they're supposed to be using in real weapons, hence the Rust reference.
Many a folk have been shot with 'unloaded' weapons.

It is tons of fun. Buccaneer has regular matches that are open to the public. About all you need besides "Cowboy clothes" is a single action revolver in 45 Colt, a holster, and the desire for some friendly competition. They supply ammo for your first match so you can give it a try. The cases are specially made to hold a shotgun primer and a wax bullet and can be used over and over again.

So. From 32 years working safety on military ranges. Desertification of the 2 sided range, regardlessof the load. And, disqualified every shooter with the off hand passing to the gun side of the belt buckle, couple there got close to shooting themselves. Reminds me of old ipsc matches....dangerous.
