I love it!

My Cowboy .22 pair is a Marlin 39a and a Ruger Single Six.
If I want to represent post 1900 Cowboys, I include a H&R Sportsman top break .22 DA/SA revolver.
I do it with 32 as well... Marlin Cowboy 32, Ruger Single Six, Cimarron Lightning 32 and Iver Johnson top break 32.

Took my grandson to the range for the first time yesterday, he shot my Henry Frontier and Ruger Super Wrangler, was hitting 2ā€ steel targets at 50 yards with the Henry and getting decent groups at 7 yards with the revolver.

He was super excited and is itching to go again.IMG_2401.jpeg

I really don't like putting optics on a lever gun but last year I had a detached retina in my right eye that tore a hole in the macula. So unfortunately I lost partial vision in that eye and its not correctable, and I am right eye dominant. So using iron sights does not work for me now unless I try to shoot left handed using my left eye. The scope cross hairs are easier for me to see but are still somewhat blurry through the "bad" right eye but it works for causal plinking.
