CZ pics

NB 52 is on the front strap.
NB is a code for State Police, 52 is the year it was produced ie 1952. Czech guns have been marked in English since the 1930s for world wide sale. You can use holsters made for the Walther PP series and I've also used a Walther PP 7.65mm mag successfully. You'll need the one without the rib on the mag. Use European 7.65mm for best realiblity as its hotter ie. GECO, RWS, S&B, Hirtenberger. I'm almost out of S&B and Hirtenberger I brought back from Germany in 90'. All my reloads are full throttle and have never had any malfunctions. Hollow Point ammo may give issues due to their shorter length and blunt nose. Enjoy your CZ!

One other thing to add on the cz50 is that the serial number range picked off where the cz27 left off. My 1950 dated one was produced within the first month or two. Series took a break in production after 1952 as CZ tooled up for the military production of the cz52. After that run then cz50 series continued for world wide sales. But the first 3 yrs were only for Czech State/National Police use.

Thanks for the information. I have been shooting mainly Fiocchi out of it with no problems.

Sooooo....yet another CZ gettin some love lol
This time it's a polymer framed Phantom. There's a spot in the DA that catches (it doesnt stop it, just feels funny), so it's time to diagnose and correct it. Bought it from a lefty, so Im gonna switch the mag release back around and install some night sights on it, too.

Did you ever try the the thumb rest?

Yes, I did. I use it for multigun and just didn’t like it for that. Don’t really need it and it can make holsters a pain.

Not for me. But if it were major (.40) and was using it in Limited with a race holster I’d likely find one I liked and use it. Probably the sidle release one.

Sooooo...the previous owner had put a CGW Pro Package in it and when he reinstalled the lockwork assembly, he missed the locking channel on the far right of the frame. You can see where this caused the frame to bow itself outward.
Issue number two is that one leg of the sear spring was bent a little. This added just a teeny bit more pressure off center of the sear.
Both those things together caused the sear to sit slightly eneven on the pin that holds the whole assembly together. In turn, when the DA pull passed through the half cock notch, there was a slight binding that occured. There didn't appear to be any damage to the sear face or the half cock notch.
Gave everything else the once over, then I straightened that spring, made damn sure I got all locking channels lined up, and put the lockwork assembly back in the frame.
Passed function test and the binding in DA is gone.

ETA: Oh, yeah...got the sights on and mag release switched, too.

Forgot about that shoulder holster. 2 of mine came with a dark brown full flap holster for belt wear. I never used it and by the looks of the holster, neither did they (mint).

CD, that 75-noB is great. Wishing I hadn't sold mine.

I wanted a CZ P01 but I got this CZ wannabe instead...

Not a CZ handgun but a something else that CZ/BRNO made before WWII. Its a 20 rd magazine for a 7.92x57mm vz26 Light Machine Gun. That gun developed into the vz30 which directly became the British BREN gun. The Waffen SS used the vz26 LMG during WWII. It was loaded upside down into the gun from the top.

You spoiled yourself lol
How are you liking it so far? CZC guns are almost like cheating lol

I am enjoying it very much. Very accurate, very smooth. Had to re-work my competition loads I was using in my Glock 34, the CZ chamber/throat is much tighter and my RN blue bullets were hitting the lands. Now that I’ve got that sorted out it’s been great. I’m taking it to IDPA worlds next month.

I saw a Target II at a gun show a couple weeks ago and really considered it.
I mean really considered it.
Like, I was looking through my contacts to see who I could borrow some money from considered it lol.
In the end, I don't compete and my plain ol CZC Shadow I does everything I need it to. I decided to just stay with that one as my top shelf gun lol
Best of luck at your comp.
