CZ pics

It's funny how I like to make fun of people who zev out their glocks but then I look at all the cz's and I'm thinking, "I want one of those."
Lol yeah it's huge mistake to pimp out a glock. I learnt my lesson. LIKE @NKD says we all make stupid buying decisions and learn from them.

LOL, soooo true.

I got nothing against pimped Grocks though, I slightly pimped mine. I just can't leave a gun alone!

PCR i traded for last week put CGW springs, firing pin and floating trigger pin. If it would ever stop raining i might go shoot it. Oh yeah, chief jason holster too

PCR is a fine gun. I had a stock version at one time that was perfect. Upgraded to a CZ Custom version and it is probably the last gun I'd get rid of. I'd sell my Les Baer first.

Yeah i had another one i traded to one of my buddies that i had put the defensive carry package in f om cgw. It was one of my favorites so when i had a chance to get this one i jumped on it. I usually carry my po1 though dont know why i just do.

Without the rail the PCR should carry a little better. Although it probably isn't significant enough to be noticeable for most people.

So I've been searching out some aftermarket grips for my SP01. I really like the original grips with the palm swell. Do y'all like the palm swell bogies? I was considering a pair in gray/black.

Climberman,

I believe grip size/feel/comfort is hugely a matter of personal preference. In the end, it is what ever gives us the most confidence in our shooting ability. Having said all of this, the rubber stock grips on my SP-01 was too big for me. The silver grips shown on my TS in my avatar was really nice while on the SP-01 but they belonged on the TS as the TS stock grips were way to big on the TS for me. Then I got the idea to try the stock TS grips on the SP-01 and the feel is fantastic. It has been raining here for the past 3 days and I have not had a chance to shoot the SP-01 with the TS stock grips. (although, so far, I have gotten 700 rounds of 9mm loaded). Here is a photo showing the TS stock grips on the SP-01.

That is sweet! I really like the short cover CZs. I really need to try these grips out.

I have been considering those as well as the ones like Harold has above. I love the thin bogies, and they look sweet, but really doesn't let me get as much meat from my support hand as I think I need.

So, get a pair so I can try them!

I am thinking I will like the palm swell bogies because I have fairly large hands and the original SP01 grips are about right for me. I think if I went with thinner grips, I wouldn't like them as much. Father's Day is coming up.

Threaded barrel came in yesterday. About 1-1/2 hours of careful fitting and it's in! Didn't get to shoot it much, but I'm digging it! One thing I didn't expect was having to file down the guide rod flush with the slide. I noticed (luckily before I shot it) that upon the slide moving rearward the guide rod would hit the back of the suppressor. Not a big deal as the guide rod is plastic (which is kinda weird on an all metal gun), but when I order the stainless one from CGW I'll have to do the same unless it's shorter.

EDIT: Pictures were too largeczthread.jpg czsupp.JPG

The stainless from CZC sits flush, the one from CGW is slightly proud like the factory rod.
