Looking for info from you guys already shooting the scorpion evo carbine.

Im looking at getting the fake supressor model.
I have fealt them and know that the trigger erc are pretty rough.

I will want to do a trigger, magwell if they make one, and a good compensator.

Anyone have any recommendations? Can i run a comp with the fake supressor model? Im guessing the fake comp will need to come off.

Thanks for any help

I've run my suppressed SBR scorpion Evo at the PHA 2 gun a couple times. It's fun but I was MUCH slower with it than my comp AR.

My issues are 1) the trigger doesn't come close to my 3.5lb CMC, I have the HBI springs 2) the safety is very stiff, probably need to carefully remove some material from that tab 3) felt recoil is greater than my comp rifle with adj gas block, brake, lw bcg, lw buffer but a comp may help a bit, 4) AR controls are much more natural for me so it takes some getting used to the CZ controls.

Yeah i find myself leaning towards an ar setup like the armalite 3gn.
I didnt really want to spend 1500 in one go......may have to try and find one used.

I did look at a daniel defense pro today. Whatever the flat trigger was it fealt really good. Comp looked decent but i really like that you can tune the armalite comp. Idk lol

With the rock bottom prices on ARs these days you should be able to buy, build, or slightly modify a rifle to be a comp gun for under $1500.

Colt 6920 w/ Centurion MLOK rail (in dead section) $780 iirc, add brake & trigger $200

Armalite M15 tactical $1030

Or do a ground up build, the options are endless.

The fake can may be a barrel extension.
If so, it's probably welded and/or blind pinned.

Can you shed some light?

I'm pretty sure they are the same rifle. The faux suppressor threads at the bore end and just slides over the bbl. Save the $$$ and get the brake instead.

@Outcrydrummer

You are welcome to shoot my scorpion when we meet up to try my STI's versus the CZ's.
