Finally got back out to the range today. Today’s experiment was can a CZ fan coexist with a Glock. Here the set up:

1. Glock 19x @ 25 yards. NIB stock gun.

2. 2 months with zero shooting due to arm injury. Yeah I screwed it up good. As in still can’t wipe my butt with the strong side. :(

Obligatory pictures:

Observations:

1. 200 trouble free rounds.

2. Trigger wasn’t great, but not as bad as I expected. Few of the flyers pictured are from me playing around with the trigger reset.

3. Don’t love 3 dot sights.

4. Didn’t notice that the infamous grip angle makes any difference at all. Maybe I just suck bad enough it doesn’t effect me.

5. My arm hurts now. Fatigued as the day went. Might try weak hand next time from a shorter distance.

Need more time behind the gun for a fair evaluation. Right now I’d say it is a nice, reliable gun. Thinking of blacking out the rear night sights or changing the sights all together if it is a long term keeper. Might need a trigger too. Overall the gun felt nice and very solid. I’ll shoot it some more and see how it goes. It might become my main woods and cabin gun. I’ll get 1,000 rounds through it and re-evaluate at that time.

And most importantly I did not acquire Glock Leg today.

Look at FBI or Hackathorn Ameriglos. I like them a lot more than any factory Glock sight.

Also don’t be ashamed to drift the rear sight a bit. I do so I don’t have to change my grip.

They are incredibly boring reliable accurate pistols. In a good way. :)

Yeah shooting left is pretty common for me. Especially when rusty. I might need professional help at some point. :D

Nah! I can't shoot a Glock worth a darn. There is a G48 in the stable that I use mainly to demo cleaning in pistol classes. I can field strip it in 15 secs with my eyes closed.

That’s an interesting little gun to me. Some good sights and a new trigger it might be really fun. There might be a deal in our future. Kinda like a Springfield EMP.

@CZfool68 with a Glock!? @Jeppo will be next.

I like the blacked out sights on a Glock.
You can throw a lot of money at a Glock trigger and improve it some. But, it will still be a Glock trigger. I have been there and done it. I've found that a <$20 Ghost connector will smooth the trigger and lighten it just a bit.

Come over to the dark side ...

Jeppo will NOT be next. Jeppo is an independent thinker and will NOT succumb to peer pressure. :p
I said the same thing lol
I, too, lost all my sense for a minute lol

Ive only done one, but I found this man speaks the truth. I threw quite a bit at mine, it's embarrasing how much, and its still just a Glock trigger.

If you truly want a 3 pound Crisp trigger [I did], go to Glock Triggers. They don't sell bits and pieces, they sell complete units AND they use Glock parts only. These will cost you around $125 and they are a matter of pushing out pins, lifting out you stock assembly and putting in the new assembly and replace the pins. Also to get A lot of trigger time get yourself the Advantage Arms 22 Conversion. I bought and sold at least 25 Glocks before I figured out that for me to beat this gun it was going to take Trigger Time.
I recently got a Wilson EDC X9, I will put my G26 with a G19 Mag and sleeve up against it straight up for any comparison any wish to take. I will admit the Wilson shoots tighter groups at 25 yards, I Don't Care. Inside 15 yards I'll take my Hybrid G26 anytime. That trigger is truly a 3 pound Crisp item.
