At the range I had setup an IDPA target to run the 5x5 qualifier. After, I wanted to run a few "Bill Drills". For some reason we started screwing around and decided to run them with various size pistols back to back to see what it did for speed and accuracy as things got smaller.

So, IDPA target at 10 yards:

I ran these one after the other, out of the same OWB holster (M&P holster actually fits the M&P, glock, taurus and can hold the G43 if you don't move around too much), no concealment, from the buzzer.

The cool thing was that all 3 runs were clean so the data was comparable. The Glocks had Trijicon HD sights and stock triggers, the Taurus was bone stock. Used the same Wolf 115gr FMJ steel case in all drills.

Going from the full size G34 to a (borrowed) G2c, I was 12% slower. From the G34 down to the (borrowed) G43, I was 24% slower.

Accuracy was equivalent here, all the hits from each were in the -0 circle in the middle. We were only pasting hits outside the -0 circle so I have no idea how much better (or not) the G34 hits were vs the others, but if 'combat accurate' is good enough, then the smaller guns just slowed me down a bit with no accuracy drop.

Make of it what you will.
