DD M4A1 trade?

I’m thinking of trading a DD M4A1 14.5 pinned rifle for a Springfield Armory Loaded Operator. Just wanted to get thoughts from everyone. I have other AR’s and no 1911’s. I know I have more $ in it on my end but just wanted other opinions. Thanks in advance.

Op, you're good. A quick Google puts the SA around $1150. As long as it's like new and what you want, I'd do it. The DD is worth more, but not in this market. I see tons of new ARs people have bought and stored or just bought, brand new with upgrades and they can't even get base retail for the gun. They're having to take 20-30% off what they paid to move them.

I’d do that deal. Hell, I love my TRP, but I’d trade it for a gently used M4a1 in a heartbeat, and the TRP is more highly regarded in the 1911 world vs the operator.
