Debate over! CZ > Glock!

You Do Not want to get involved in this....It Is Expensive!!!!!!!! I've done it 3 times...…………...

I've taken advice from folks like you, and this time (my 3rd as well) I am renting - but it's more like a lease-to-own. The residual on the lease must be very low because my current payments are high as heck!

:D:p:D:p:D:p

So on my commute today I got behind a maroon Acura SUV. I don’t have pics as I am a safe driver. But it had a CZ sticker in the window and a Purple Heart license plate. So obviously all those hipster meme’s about CZ’s are false and they are the choice of brave Patriots. If that was your car fess up and take credit for your manliness.

Nah, Glock is still better.......

I am thoroughly disappointed at your reflection in the tailgate.
It’s liberal northern VA, the neighbors would be concerned enough if they saw those guns, let alone if I was taking those pics in the nude.

Had one glock years ago.Could take it or leave it so I sold it.Never had a CZ.Have never really gotten past 1911's and revolvers. Keep It Simple Stupid. o_O

You cant fix perfection.

But you can:

Immediately change out the sights
Do a .25 trigger job
Change out the connector for a ghost connector
Send the slide to be milled
Cerecote it a different color
Stipple the grips
Undercut the trigger guard
Polish the barrel

You see plenty of $500 Glock 19s that have $2000 “worth” of upgrades. So apparently $500 buys you the “Per” and you have to pay extra for the “fection”.

I'm certainly not going to defend Glock's unfortunate, perhaps, choice of the advertising term "perfection," but let's all admit that the folks at CZ custom shop are not playing poker all day for lack of work.

Nope, they aren’t. Cajun Gun Works gets a fair share. So no doubt there. But I’ll always find it funny that Glock “perfection” comes with so many “recommended” upgrades.

The word CZ sounds like my wife when she sleeping. Glock sounds like my cat hacking up a fur ball.... I hear Smith, I say Bless you..Now, 1911 , that sounds important.

Try going to a gun store here (or whilst at the Range) and asking or talking about C-Zeds. ::shakes head:: I've picked up the British (or Canadian, but my influences were Brits) usage. Anyway, it will earn you some of those "Son, you feel'n okay?" looks.

can I rent one?

This has all taken a very strange turn...I am so misunderstood! :)

The trick is to let them hypnotize some other poor fool and then catch them in an uncomfortable situation, hopefully with a camera. You can get away with all of your stuff, your money, and even the whole house sometimes.

Aint dat called >gilding da lilly>

I've got three Glocks and no CZs. I'd like a CZ, just so I can carry it into the cafe and get a soy mocha non caffeinated triple latte mint explosion.

Lol, seriously though. I'd love to run a CZ soon.

Everybody upgrades their weapons. Honestly, I compartmentalize stippling and dropping in a trigger on a Glock equally as shipping a CZ off to CGW. Upgrades are upgrades.

Personally I like Glocks because there is no mechanical hesitation on a safety and I know it will work in whatever condition with whatever ammo. Interchangable parts and 33+ round mags are fun too.

That being said I should probably own a CZ or four. I have eyeballed several of them in the BST listings when they surface. But I'm ignorant on what's the right one or the right price for my wants/needs.

Bottom line it's a Ford vs Chevy thing in my eyes. All that matter is if you can place rounds in the right place downrange when needed wheather its a Highpoint or some pimp 1911, same objective.

I actually don't think @draco88 needs more Glocks.

What he does need is to dig deep and find the courage to admit how many he really owns. :D

If you don’t know, you can’t be coerced into a confession .

It's lookin more and more like I'll be able to get to VOD Saturday...youre gonna get to run one for five, if you want lol.
Bring ammo...they eat the heck out of it lol

I maintain a healthy supply of 9mm at all times. If I need something else let me know.

Awesome!

I’m not in the same league with many of y’all in terms of experience with Glocks. I’ve had three and couldn’t get any of them to like me. I’ve shot wheelguns exclusively for the last three years, and haven’t explored much else in the bottom feeder world. Yesterday a friend let me shoot his CZ tactical sport orange. First time I’ve actually had the opportunity to shoot a CZ, and I walked away god smacked. May have been the best trigger I’ve ever handled. I’d put it up against a 2011 any day.

I think that Glocks are the girl next door and C Z s are the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. They can both get the job done but the C Z s just feel and look so much better while doing it. And face the facts, if they're women or machines sooner or later they're going to break down:(

A TSO for your first time...you got spoiled quick lol

Not really a Ford vs Chevy thing. Those both suck. :p

I've been eyeballing the CZ tactical orange all day after @draco88 gave me a CZ education yesterday. A little steep for my wallet today but I'm a believer in buy once cry once.

You definitely won't be disappointed lol. They're super nice, and I want one, but since I don't compete, it's hard for me to justify one. My Shadow and Shadow 2 are as high up that ladder as I'm gonna climb lol.

As an aside, I really find enjoyment in getting base model SP01s, P01s, and PCRs and tinkering with them myself. I have tuned up seven to various levels myself and about to start an eighth. I have learned so much about how my chosen platform operates.
