Defective P80 lower.

So first time builder here, I didn't notice that the frame was missing the channel the slide lock spring goes in until after I had milled and drilled the slide and started to assemble it.

How SOL am I here? Its obviously defective but as its been 'finished' can I even send it back to P80?

Just curious, but what version of the P80 is this? I have many of the P80 compacts and they all have the traditional third gen channel.

Its a 940CL a 17 slide on a 19 grip.
