When a post is deleted, why does it not tell who the mod was that did it? Made a past earlier on a thread, went out riding for hours and didn’t see if anything came of it while I was out, but had a notification of my post being deleted with this sassy message but no indication of who the “deleter” was….

Suggestion: ask someone with admin privilege to examine the moderation log file to see, and tell you, who was responsible.
 
1st …. No I didn’t delete it.

2nd … I think it would be an incredibly bad idea to open that can of worms. Yeah…the explanation may have been a bit pissy, but there’s no way in hell you’d get moderators to stick around if we had to end up dealing with a PM flame war every time we redirected someone’s errant posts.

We’re volunteers…nobody running this ship is on payroll.

Or not. Like @Tim said, the message could’ve probably been worded differently, but cmon. Is that a can of worms folks really want to open?
 
And @Derek8404 looking at the deleted post and the wording in it, did you expect it not to be deleted? Honest answer.
 
And he quoted four members before replying with that…

It’s also why the reason was worded the was it was using “baffles”.
 
This thread is gonna go nowhere. The key thing here is make a dick post, it may get deleted. OP you have had a run of those lately. Let’s not continue that. If you have something to say, send me a pm.
